Last week we wanted to take a photograph of Parnia in an atelier. It was a cold day and I made her wear warm clothes and covered her by her blanket tightly. When we arrived in atelier, she had fallen sleep. After a hard attempt to awake her, she got up and started watching around. She gazed at camera apparatus and photographer took her photo with just one try because she did not close her eyes and watch directly to the lens of camera. After printing her photo I found her face is going to seem like girl kids, didn't it
Parnia started watching her little hands. I think after 2 months of birth babies can control a little their hands. Before she used to scratch her face with little hands nails and then she cried. She also gazes and follows movement of objects and persons with eyes and neck movement easily. She paid attention when we talk to her and tries to imitate our lips movement and goes out her little tongue after we do it. Now she sleeps longer at night and just one time wakes up for milk. She is an early bird and usually makes us up around 6 am. She can support her neck well and loves to sit on my laps and watch monitor when I am writing about her progress.
When I opened curtains, I saw
everywhere had been covered by white snow. I love snow and play and walk in
snowy days. I will play and make a snowman with Parnia next year. I think for a
year old kid playing with snow is enjoyable.
Today Parnia is 2 months old and
it was time to be visited and vaccinated in health center. There, after opening
a file for Parnia, a doctor weighted her and measured her height. Then, she
tested her reflex by releasing her from a short height. She slept but suddenly
opened her small eyes and flexed her arms and legs simultaneously. I guessed she
told herself why they had done it.
Then, we went to vaccine room for vaccination. Poor Parnia! She was shouting when needle dipped into her laps. I was going to cry but I controlled myself and started to comfort her.

Two injected vaccines and
polio oral drops were her vaccines. Now she slept after eating some
acetaminophen oral drops for preventing fever resulted by vaccine. I hope she
can sleep at night.
Today Parnia was fine. She slept enough and normally after feeding. In the beginning of night when she woke up, she started crying without any clear reason. I did not know what to do, just talking to her and walking while she was in my embrace. I became sure that there was something wrong with her and tried to call her doctor for a visit. Her secretor gave me a seat but I could not take any taxi because they did not any car to rent. My husband was on the way and I wanted to join us in the doctor's office. I really had hard minutes because Parnia was crying and shouting and I could do nothing. It was going to start crying with her when she stopped crying and became quiet. I could find an opportunity to open her diapers and wash her back. While I was trying to fasten her diapers and talk to her, she smiled. I became sure that her problem was sorted out. I called the office and canceled her doctor appointment and called my husband to explain her situation. It is unclear why she cried. Maybe she had pain in her back or stomach. I wished she could speak and tell me her problem.
We came back home the day before yesterday from a 6 day trip to the north to visit my husband family. Parnia was not calm in the north. When a guest came my mother in low house, she was quiet and watched them carefully but just after they left she started crying. Who believes? Whenever she started I said came back our home tomorrow morning but next morning when I found her relaxed I decided to stay another day. At last we came back home after 6 days.
Today we got up late and after having lunch I read the first story book Parnia, Gezgheli loves food, her father bought for her as a gift. She heard me carefully and I changed name of Gezgheli to Parnia.
We finished book and I hugged her and sit down in front of computer to do some work. She was quiet and watched all I was doing. After half an hour I found she have slept on my forearm. I think she loves my embrace so much even I was busy.
