her 2nd birthday

tomorrow around 8:40 am parnia is again born. tonight we all went to a resturant to celebrate her 2nd birthday together. we just came back home and i found an opportunity to write some words to say that we are very happy to be together and hope the God bless her.

all Kids are little fairies and gifts from God. so, Let's respect them.

i had to change her nursery

Parnia has been changed since her class was changed (a month ago). i don't understand the right reasons but i consider some stange acts, for instance, when something is opposite her desire, she does not look at you any more and puts everything in her mounth and bring out her tongue and licks her finger or put her finger in her mounth. i don't like her behaviors in this situation and she knows how she makes me angry. she also put her hands on her neck while lying face down and often hits her head on the floor. she usually huffes when she opposes something.

i was fed up with her acts and planned to change her nursery. she started going to new nursery for three days. i understand it is difficult for her to adapt but what i could do. her reaction in these three days were like a kid starts going to nursery and it made me strange. she cried when she leaves my embrace and does not communicate to anybody.

what do you think of?

She is intersted to draw and wirte like adults.

She also can go up and down stairs independently.

some changes in Parnia behavior

two months later she will become 2 years old. although she does not speak fluently Farsi, she follows english song melodies well. when she is going to sleep we song together "Morge sahar by Ostad Shajarian". she songs with me at the end of each part. she knows what the words will come after each part.

she also is intersted to play flute. she puts her toy sowrd and imagines she plays flute. she holds sweep like a guitar and plays with it.

her drawing is changed first she drew lines but now she draws circle well and holds pencil and pen well like a mature person.

an incredible act

some days ago, i was praying when parnia asked me a glass of water (ab mikha). she repeated her request a few times but i could not give her some water because i was in middle of pray. suddenly, she picked up my "Mohr" (something a payer puts his forehead on it to worship the God) and put it in dust bin. i couldnot believe it. when i checked the dust bin, i found my "Mohr" in it. i laughed and thought about its reason. she is right to do it...

yesterday parnia participated in music course

yesterday parnia participated in music course (hammered dulcimer) for first time after a long time listening voice of hammered dulcimer from behind the class. she just listened and watched carefully three piece of music. the teacher welcame her and invited her to participate in the calss once a week as an audience. i think the teacher will find a new student soon.

Parnia gave up breastfeeding

Parnia gave up breastfeeding for 3 days. i thaught it would be difficult but it was easy for both of us. she only breastfeeded at nights for a week and then she stopped breasfeeding at nights, too. in first days she rarely came to me and pointed me by her finger for milk but she accepted not to breastfeed at all. so she stopped her habit without making me trouble and without painting , covering by plaster and spicing my nipples. thanks god. i feel she is independent now.

Parnia played harmonica well

Parnia played harmonica well when she had 17 months. i recorded a short film while she was palying harmonica. i donot think she became a musician but i am sure that most of kids at her age can not do it. she is sensetive to musical instruments and i think it is sign for her interest to learning how to play any instrument.

She is growing just in front of my eyes. i don't know why i feel she has gotten older since 3 days ago. She can understand my feeling either i am happy or sad. if she does something wrong, she understands by the way i aware her. She also can recognize all people she meets daily such her managers in her nursery, etc.

she dances well with music and moves her hands and steps her feet and turns arounds while dancing. i think her english understanding is improving because she imitates role palyers in kid music on satellite for instance she nodes her head when claps her hands and steps her feet when she listens song asks her to do them.

she also can follow my orders well for example when i ask her to draw on paper she does. one day she came to me and asked me to open the lid of pen to draw (with body language) and i told her to draw just on paper, she picked the pen and run toward her case to pick up a piece of paper. after some minutes she came back with hands were drew. i became angry and said " i asked you to draw just on paper, didn't i?" she understood i was angry so threw the pen and went while she was crying. when i hugged her afterthen it seemed she was waiting and embraced me too.

a musical toy car

We bought a musical toy car for Parnia yesterday. when she got on it in the shop, she started riding it and she did not get off it to be checked for deliver. while its seller was putting its batteries she watched him carefully and speaking some word in her language and when all was over the seller said "can you let me get on behaind you". "No",Parnia replied by noding his head.

i don't understand if she agreed because she watches english program most of the time. noding in our culture means NO but it means Yes in english language. who knows what she meaned really.
